CoD4 Challenges Guide

The CoD4 Challenges are a spiffy way to pick up extra experience and level up that much faster in Call of Duty. Some of them are easy, some tough, and others will make you destroy your gaming computer in a fit of primal rage. You don't need to complete challenges to level up in CoD4, they are just a way to spice things up for the gamer. Don't go destroying your Xbox 360 against a wall if you cant nail down some of the more extreme ones. These are just a nice way to pick up some XP in this video game, so keep an eye out for these in your next CoD server. Ill skip the self explanatory Ranks & Challenges.

CoD4 Challenges - Primary Weapons

Each main weapon in Call of Duty 4 has two challenges associated with them. Each of the two challenges has three levels that progress as you complete them. The challenges are separated by weapon type; Assault, SMG, Shot Gun, Sniper.


Marksman
You simply have to get kills to progress through the marksman ranks. For level 1 you need to get 25 kills. Level 2 you need to down 75 guys. finally level 3 is completed when you get 150 frags.


Expert
This one is a little bit tougher, you need head shots to get through these ranks. Level 1 will take 25 head shots. Level 2 will be done after 75 dome shots. Your done with level 3 after 150 heads.

CoD4 Challenges - Boot Camp

This is a fun one, The easiest way to complete Goodbye is to jump down a missile silo on countdown or fall down the well in District.

Base Jump
Find a place to jump down from that will cause damage without killing you.

X-Ray Vision
Strong rifles are the best choice for wall kills, like the AK47. Dont forget to aim low while walling, most players prone when they take wall damage.

Vandalism
This one is simple, hit cars directly with grenades for easy XP.

Knife Veteran
This one will come naturally as you play the game and see knife openings.

CoD4 Challenges - Operations

Equip the MP5 and go to town, play aggressive and keep moving.

Bomb Defender
Once the bomb is down find a wall to hide behind. When a player trys to defuse it you will hear a distinct noise, peek out and get an easy kill.

Bomb Planter
Tougher than bomb defender since planting is faster than defusing (depending on the server config). You can hear while the plant is going down so find a good hiding spot and be patient.

Last Man Standing
This is a simple one, if your sniping in SND chances are you will be the last one standing.

CoD4 Challenges - Killer

This is a great way to practice cooking grenades and get some good XP at the same time. Make sure you let go of the grenade before the third blink of your cross hair, or your going to have a bad day.

Air Strike Veteran
These are easiest to get in search and destroy. Once you have the air strike on call save it for the beginning of the next round. Then put it down outside the enemy spawn and watch the screen light up.

Chopper Veteran
Team-death-match is the way to go for this one. Use your best gun and go to town until you call in enough choppers to meet the kill requirements.

Stun Veteran
Stun nades are insanely strong in cod4, its a good idea to get in the habit of taking advantage of them (unless you plan on playing in competition, some leagues took them out completely).

CoD4 Challenges - Humiliation

The easiest way to complete this is to jump while using the MP5. Jumping mid fight is a good way to be unpredictable at close range.

Multi-Frag
Prenades are the simplest way to get this challenge out of the way.

Carpet Bomb
Save an air strike for early round in SND and cross your fingers. You need a good amount of luck to finish this challenge.

Slasher
Try getting aggressive with an mp5. If you can get behind enemy lines and flank people with a knife this challenge becomes much easier.

Car Bomb
If you figure out a few prenades for cars you can get this one done quickly.

Rival
Killing the same enemy 5 times in one match is simple in a small server. Find one with 4-8 people and you should be able to complete this.

Cruelty
Kill and enemy with his own weapon. Its a good idea to switch out your pistol for a main gun after killing some one so you will probably complete this one without thinking about it.

CoD4 Challenges - Elite

Kill 3 enemies while near death. If you are an aggressive player you will complete this naturally.

Flawless
This one takes time and talent. You need to go a full match without dieing, its not easy but if you play smart eventually you will have a perfect game.

Tango Down
You have to kill each member of the other team at least once there has to be at least 4 people on the team. Small servers are the way to go for this one 4 people per team preferably.

Fast Swap
Damage an enemy with your main weapon then finish them off with your pistol. This challenge is a good way to practice a good skill. Switching to your pistol is faster than reloading in a clutch situation.

invincible
If you are losing a fight at mid to long range just let it go. Run away and let them go, this is an important skill and you will get free xp for exercising it in this challenge if you take damage 5 times.

Fearless
Get 10 kills without dying, use your radar, air strike, and helicopter with good timing. Save your helicopter until after you die, then stack your way though a kill streak again. If you do it right you start out with a helo when you spawn and then get another when you hit the 7th kill, plus the radar and air strike in between.
